Katie is a Mommy, first and foremost. Her second strongly loved passion is photography. She takes photographs of her children at every chance possible. Katie’s love of photography has spilled over whole-heartedly into her professional world as a family photographer in the Saint Louis area.
This weekend was also the Larrigan family’s photo shoot. This little guy was such a trooper for our session! The grass was really wet, the playground was drenched… and as we found out at the end of the session, there were bugs about.

I’m sooo lucky! I get to watch these amazing little ones grow up! This little guy was one of my very first newborn/baby session’s – and now look at him!  He’s running around singing his ABCs already!  I’m always so glad when I get to see him again and catch all the little changes from session to session. Thanks to the Sottile family for a great morning!!

Sunday afternoon I went to the Moebes family shoot. We were soo worried about the storm and it turned out that we managed the whole shoot without any trouble. In fact, right when we were leaving the lightning started up.  I’d say that was perfect timing. I was sooo excited about this shoot I definitely didn’t want to reschedule this one – I’d done pictures for this family when it was just one little girl and now they have a beautiful little boy as well! It was great catching up! Thanks Moebes family for a really fun afternoon!

I just love, love, love Bee Tree Park! This weekend was the Bradshaw family’s photo shoot and the girls wore these completely adorable white dresses… that worked sooo well in the field of barely cut grass and wild flowers. I love that Bee Tree Park doesn’t always cut their grass.  It gives such a whimsical look to the shots! Thanks Bradshaw girls for a wonderful Sunday afternoon!

Carrie and Andrew had an amazing wedding last Saturday! This is a seriously fun couple and I can’t say enough how happy I was to be able to shoot their wedding! This adventurous bride even scaled a wall… in her wedding dress!!… for the sake of a cool shot. That’s right – think about it girls. Climbing up a nearly 5ft tall wall in heels… and then add in a ballgown with a train… Carrie you definitely raised the bar.  Seriously though, it was a great day! Congratulations again!!!

Becky and Jordan are now happily engaged and amidst their wedding planning I was called in to do an engagement session. We had originally scheduled it for last weekend, but the weather just didn’t hold out. I was sure the same would happen again this weekend with all the tornado warnings – but as it turned out we got lucky and went on a little hike to the railroad tracks.    I’m soooo excited for Jordan and Becky!! They are such a great couple. Can’t you tell from the shots how in love they are? Congratulations Jordan and Becky!!!!

So the other day I was at my Mom’s house and my little sister wanted a few pictures for fun. And since today just happens to be her 13th birthday, I figure this would be a perfect opportunity to show off her new teenage charm.  Happy Birthday!!!

This weekend I was had the chance to hold a photo shoot with the Frank family. I’ve been wanting to get some photos of this great family since their youngest – twins!!! – were born just a year ago. Talk about a fun and active family! 4 kids ages 3 and under and look at those smiles!! Could you ask for a happier family??  What more can be said. Thanks to the Frank family for a great Saturday!
