The Cory family is also welcoming a new little one.  This little boy was so adorable!  Congratulations to to the Cory family!!

The McDannald family is welcoming a new little girl to their family and I was lucky enough to be asked to take her very first portrait.  As it turned out this little lady wasn’t too happy to be a child model, but I think she pulled it off like a pro.  Thanks so much to the McDannald’s for a great afternoon session!

Happy Holidays!!  I’m officially back from a little Christmas break and was lucky enough to photograph the Renaud family this week.  Is it just me or does this family seem really happy?   I don’t know about you, but adorable little babies around Christmas time always make me smile too. 

 

The May family had their first ever photo shoot this past weekend.  How lucky that the weather warmed up for us!

The Cannon family has a new little boy in their midst.  This little man was quite awake for only 8 days old!  Good thing he’s sleeping well for Mom though!    Every Mom’s dream… a baby that sleeps through the night – or at least through most of it!

Introducing the littlest Troup – Quincy was so adorable!  This little guy was having a rough day, not that you could tell from his happy little smile!  Babies smiles can just melt your worries away, can’t they? 

 

 

My latest shoot was this past weekend with the Landsbaum family!  Little Ellen is such an adorable little girl, is she not?     We played around on the playground which turned out to be a great backdrop for some unique shots.  Especially when you have a fun-loving family willing to jump in and have a ball.

 

 

This weekend I had the privilege of shooting a baptism for the Lewis family.  This was no ordinary baptism as both daughter and mother were baptized on the same day!  How many families can have that memory?  This was a large and loving family whose internal paprazzi rivaled  my own!  Little Gia is certainly one very loved little girl.  Congratulations!

I agree – it doesn’t really sound like much.  A baby sitting up in an everyday cart in Target.  Nothing big, right?  Well I’d beg to differ.  Hugely differ, actually. 

In the days past (as in the last 3 months) if I needed to go to the store I had to first make sure that I had a few blankets on hand to make a little bassinet out of the cart for Elizabeth.  Getting out of the car meant setting up the “big kids” (yep, I lump my 2 year old in the big kid category) and Elizabeth in shifts and then going through the store expecting to receive some rather funny looks at times.  As it turns out most people do not use the carts as beds for their babies… But I ask you, how else do you plan on bringing 3 young kids plusinfant through the store single-handedly and expect to actually use the basket for anything other than holding your children??  Answer:   you get creative.  For me using the toddler seat as a bed was a given. 

Well, as of yesterday I will receive no more funny looks.  No longer will I have to be prepared to enter the store with scores of extra blankets.  I don’t have to get the kids out of their seats and setup in shifts.  Nope.  From now on we can just run to the store and jump out of the car without hassle.  Seems like such a simple thing really, but for me it’s definitely a milestone worth noting.
