Katie is a Mommy, first and foremost. Her second strongly loved passion is photography. She takes photographs of her children at every chance possible. Katie’s love of photography has spilled over whole-heartedly into her professional world as a family photographer in the Saint Louis area.
This weekend was also the Larrigan family’s photo shoot. This little guy was such a trooper for our session! The grass was really wet, the playground was drenched… and as we found out at the end of the session, there were bugs about.

Sunday afternoon I went to the Moebes family shoot. We were soo worried about the storm and it turned out that we managed the whole shoot without any trouble. In fact, right when we were leaving the lightning started up.  I’d say that was perfect timing. I was sooo excited about this shoot I definitely didn’t want to reschedule this one – I’d done pictures for this family when it was just one little girl and now they have a beautiful little boy as well! It was great catching up! Thanks Moebes family for a really fun afternoon!

This weekend I was had the chance to hold a photo shoot with the Frank family. I’ve been wanting to get some photos of this great family since their youngest – twins!!! – were born just a year ago. Talk about a fun and active family! 4 kids ages 3 and under and look at those smiles!! Could you ask for a happier family??  What more can be said. Thanks to the Frank family for a great Saturday!
So I’ve returned to the Rickey family household to get some more picks of this very, very handsome little man. How can you not smile with those dimples and adorable little hat??? Too, too cute! Thanks again to the Rickey family for a great morning!

This weekend was my youngest very first birthday! I can’t believe that Elizabeth is actually a full year old! There are no more babies in our house – she’s now officially a toddler. And a very, very energetic one at that.  We played it easy this year with home made cupcakes and lots of fun.Â
This weekend I drove out to the Rickey family’s home and it was a blast! I loved that they were into playing music and I should say upfront that I’m heading to the store this week to find that awesome skirt for my little girls! Talk about adorable!!! Thanks to the Rickey family for a great morning!

The McDannald family is welcoming a new little girl to their family and I was lucky enough to be asked to take her very first portrait. As it turned out this little lady wasn’t too happy to be a child model, but I think she pulled it off like a pro. Thanks so much to the McDannald’s for a great afternoon session!

Happy Holidays!! I’m officially back from a little Christmas break and was lucky enough to photograph the Renaud family this week. Is it just me or does this family seem really happy?  I don’t know about you, but adorable little babies around Christmas time always make me smile too.Â
