Katie is a Mommy, first and foremost. Her second strongly loved passion is photography. She takes photographs of her children at every chance possible. Katie’s love of photography has spilled over whole-heartedly into her professional world as a family photographer in the Saint Louis area.
Yah! This Saturday I got to start off my day with the Pfeiffer family. And this time they have one more! This family of four is so much fun! The proud big sister was ready to show off her new little brother – and some very over-the-top cute new model poses she’s come up with! LoL – seriously adorable. Thanks to the Pfeiffer family for a wonder morning!

This last Friday I had a the chance to meet the Baum family for a newborn photography session in their home. This family was so incredibly sweet and all three little girls were just adorable. Talk about smiles! These new big sisters were happy as could be with their new little sister. Thanks to the Baum family for a fabulous Friday afternoon!

Last week my newest little niece, Annie, was born. She’s so incredibly adorable!! Last night my brother brought his new family over for a late-night newborn session. Late as in we didn’t finish until midnight… and today was the first day of school for my two oldest children today. 
 So it was a little hectic, but tons of fun! Congratulations Anthony and Jordan!!!

So, for Friday the 13th Stephanie and Ben had their engagement session. It was hot!!! And these guys were like model pros dressed in jeans and no complaints the whole way! Very impressive if I do say so myself.  I’m super excited to have done their engagement shoot and can’t wait to photograph their wedding this fall!!

This weekend was also the Larrigan family’s photo shoot. This little guy was such a trooper for our session! The grass was really wet, the playground was drenched… and as we found out at the end of the session, there were bugs about.  He and his big brother and sister were great despite all the craziness. Thanks so much to the Larrigan family for a great morning

I’m sooo lucky! I get to watch these amazing little ones grow up! This little guy was one of my very first newborn/baby session’s – and now look at him!  He’s running around singing his ABCs already!  I’m always so glad when I get to see him again and catch all the little changes from session to session. Thanks to the Sottile family for a great morning!!

So this last week I was hanging out with my family. My whole family. A total of 21 of us fitting just barely into 3 vehicles with a UHaul taking everything (including the guy’s golf clubs… apparently they can’t leave home without them).  We all went down to the Florida Panhandle – Cape San Blas to be exact. We’d worried for so long about the oil spill and as it turned out everything was absolutely gorgeous! Clear beautiful waters and sandy white beaches greeted us when we arrived.Â
We had such a great time! In the morning we’d take the kids to the beach to swim and you know what – the water was sooo great that they actually could swim in it! And at the end of the week it was so calm that we could walk out quite a distance with the kids and let them swim with the little fish in calm shallow water. It really was amazing and the little ones absolutely loved every minute of it! And every night we each took turns cooking everyone a feast and we dressed up for dinner every night. We didn’t eat out once the whole week and not one of us missed out.  Then in the evening I’d sing on the deck with my sisters with the sun setting on the beach behind us… OK. So those of you that know me know that I personally didn’t sing toooo much (out of kindess to others) but it was great fun none-the-less. Â
My only regret was not taking my camera out more often. But even that I don’t regret too much. The time playing in the sand with my kids was priceless and I’ll never forget it. Pictures or not.Â
I wanted to thank my sister, Gianni, for stopping on our walk down the beach to take this shot of my family for me! I’m sooooo often not found in pictures…Â

Cristina and Nick had their engagement session over this holiday weekend and it was a blast! Turns out Old St. Charles is really, really neat! Filled with little shops and tons of history this was a great place for some amazing shots! Here’s just a couple of them. Thanks Cristina and Nick!!
